Old or incorrect engine oil increases friction, heat, sludge, and premature component wear. We use the manufacturer-recommended oil grade and a quality filter, check for leaks and low fluids, reset the service indicator, and verify the correct level before returning your car.

Yes. Modern engines have tight tolerances and variable valve timing that depend on a specific viscosity. The wrong grade causes wear and can trigger faults.
Topping up replaces volume but not the additive package that has been used up. Old oil loses its ability to protect regardless of level.
