Cooling system

Coolant replacement in Dubai

Coolant is the most neglected fluid in the car and the one that does most damage when it fails. In 45°C heat, an overheating engine goes from warning light to head gasket very quickly.

Dealer-level cooling standards, best pricing

Coolant is the most neglected fluid in the car and the one that does most damage when it fails. Every system is pressure tested, vacuum filled and heat cycled before it leaves.

What we do

Coolant Replacement work we carry out

Everything below is done in our own workshop by our own technicians, with a written quote before any work starts.

01

Coolant flush and replace

Old coolant drained, system flushed and refilled with the correct specification fluid.

02

Vacuum fill

System evacuated and filled under vacuum so no air pocket is left behind.

03

Pressure testing

Cap and system tested to find leaks that only appear when hot and pressurised.

04

Water pump and thermostat

Replaced together where access makes it sensible, with a new gasket every time.

05

Radiator and hoses

Blocked radiators, perished hoses and cracked expansion tanks replaced.

06

Head gasket testing

Combustion gas testing where overheating suggests the gasket has already gone.

When to book

Signs you should come in

Temperature gauge climbingStop driving. An engine that overheats twice usually needs the head skimmed.
Coolant level keeps droppingA leak somewhere, and coolant does not evaporate on its own.
Sweet smell after drivingCoolant leaking onto something hot, often the heater matrix or a hose.
Heater blows coldAir lock or low coolant. Both need proper attention, not a top-up.

Why us

Correct coolant, correctly filled

Mixing coolant types causes gelling that blocks the radiator. Filling without a vacuum leaves air pockets that cause localised overheating.

  • Manufacturer specification fluidCoolant types are not interchangeable — mixing them causes damage.
  • Vacuum filled every timeNo air locks, which are a common cause of repeat overheating.
  • Pressure tested afterwardsProves the system is sealed before you drive away.
  • Hoses and cap checkedThe cheap parts that cause the expensive failures.

Warning signs

Signs your cooling system needs attention

Overheating is the fastest way to turn a small fault into a rebuild. These are the warnings that come first.

  • Temperature gauge climbingAnything above normal is a reason to stop, not to press on.
  • Coolant level droppingA sealed system should not lose coolant — if it does, it is leaking.
  • Sweet smell after drivingEscaping coolant, often from a hose, radiator seam or the water pump.
  • Heater blows coldLow coolant or an airlock, since the heater matrix sits high in the circuit.
  • Coolant discoloured or oilyContamination, and a possible head gasket or oil cooler fault.
  • Fans running constantlyThe system is struggling to shed heat, or the sensor is reading wrong.

Our process

How the job runs

No work begins until you have seen the problem and approved the price. If we find something extra, it stops and comes back to you.

01

Pressure test

System tested cold and hot to locate any leak before work starts.

02

Drain and flush

Old coolant removed and the system flushed of contamination.

03

Vacuum fill

Refilled under vacuum with the correct specification coolant.

04

Heat cycle and re-check

Run to temperature, bled, and level rechecked before hand back.

FAQs

Coolant Replacement questions

Most manufacturers specify every four to five years, but in this climate we suggest checking condition annually. Coolant loses its corrosion inhibitors over time even if it still looks clean.

In an emergency to get home, yes. But water alone has no corrosion protection and a lower boiling point, so it must be replaced with correct coolant as soon as possible.

At speed there is airflow through the radiator. In traffic you depend on the cooling fan and a clean radiator core. Blocked fins or a weak fan shows up exactly then.

No. Pull over and let it cool. Continuing to drive an overheating engine warps the cylinder head, and that turns a hose repair into a head gasket job.
